Sitelutions Extends Price Break for Domain Registration
Sitelutions, an international internet hosting provider, announced that it will extend its current market price for domain name registration until February 1, 2012--15 days past the date set by VeriSign, Inc. for the increase, saving its customers immeasurably.
VeriSign announced last year that in accordance with its agreement with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), it would enact an increase in the registry domain name fees for .com and .net. The contract, signed in 2006, states that VeriSign will increase the prices for .com domains by 7% over the duration of four years as well as increase the prices for .net domains by 10% over a period of six years.
In a move to show appreciation and give back to the community, the increase from VeriSign, effective January 15, 2012, will not affect Sitelutions' customers immediately, as is the industry standard. "We saw this as an opportunity to thank our customers and show them that we put the customer first--that Sitelutions is the industry standard when it comes to customer service," states Josh Abraham, Director of Technical Operations at InfoRelay, parent company of Sitelutions.
Sitelutions has seen continued strong growth in accordance with the global boom of the Internet and emergence of associated connected devices. Currently offering its customers an array of Internet hosting services, including domain registration, web hosting, and DNS services, Sitelutions has repeatedly established its foothold as a reputable provider in the web services industry.
Sitelutions customers will have until February 1, 2012 to get .com and .net domains for the current rate of as low as $8.75 yearly.
