Xfactor 2014 audition contestant Kerrianne Covell announces her innovative professional career launch & plans.
PRLog - Dec. 21, 2014 - LONDON, U.K. -- As unconventional and exciting as Kerrianne Covell’s Xfactor auditions were, today’s announcement is equally exciting and innovative.
To engage further with her fans or ‘Kerriettes’ as Covell has named her growing army of followers she states “I’m pleased to announce that this week I am beginning a campaign to launch my fulltime professional music & recording career. I want to thank my incredible fans and want them to be a huge part of my journey.”
Kerrianne is seeking the support of potential investors including her loyal fan base & is launching a fundraising campaign via Kickstarter.com week commencing 22nd December, 2014. Funds raised will be invested in securing recording studio time & engineers, musicians, songwriters and for promotional purposes with the aim of launching Kerrianne’s first commercial single and album planned for release in April 2015, current contractual arrangements prevent an earlier release. The Album launch will be supported by a small UK tour, dates & venues to be announced.
Fans contributing to the fundraising will be given the opportunity to feature on her first Album cover as part of a montage made up of contributing fans’ pictures. Other opportunities will be available depending on investment size. Covell further announced an incredible opportunity for one lucky fan. “Today I’m also announcing an amazing competition; I’m inviting fans to write a song for me, the winning song will feature on my first album with a full credit.” (Full competition details & rules will be announced via Kerrianne-covell.com – email enquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org )
Having entered Xfactor 2014, Kerrianne Covell gained infamy when she confirmed during her televised audition that she had skipped work to attend; after blowing away the judges with her performance Simon Cowell called her Manager at work and left a message for him. USA Singing Sensation Carrie Underwood raved on twitter about Covell’s performance of her song ‘I know you won’t’. Kerrianne went on to the ‘Xfactor Boot Camp auditions’, in front of a packed Wembley Arena she secured the final place as one of Cheryl Fernandez Versini’s ‘Judge’s House’ contenders.
To the public’s shock & outrage Kerrianne was not selected for ‘Xfactor Live Shows’. Bizarrely although selecting a different act as Cheryl’s ‘Wild Card’ it was announced after the Xfactor final that Louis Walsh had previously predicted Kerrianne Covell as Xfactor 2014 Winner. On 21/12/14 Steve Anderson, Kylie Minogue’s Musical director when asked (on Twitter) for his opinion on one of Covell’s auditions stated, “Loved her and thought it was so wrong she didn’t get through – one of the best voices by far.”
Since her departure from the 2014 Xfactor Covell’s fan base has continued to grow with her twitter following almost doubling to 36,800 during the live shows. Her popularity has led to her performing at a variety of events nationwide and she has been in much demand for TV & Radio interviews.
