Many people face obstacles in life and worry that they won’t be strong enough to overcome them. To address this, renowned speaker, author, and personal/group coaching expert Ha Le Thai has shared her own life journey of overcoming hardship, uncertainty, loss, and pain. Not one to surrender, Ha Le has built a strong life of love, positive motherhood, and helping others, after mastering the tools of self-discovery herself.
In her memoir “Waratah”, Ha Le is sharing her powerful story in a way sure to touch the heart and inspire others to overcome life’s challenges. Anyone doubting whether they can face what life has dealt them should not pass by this incredible story.
“We all deserve the possibility to find significant happiness in life” commented Ha Le. “My story shows that even when met with some of the worst things humanly possible, we can still take steps to overcome adversity, heal pain, and make our experience on this Earth a masterpiece. I share both my story and my formula for success in ‘Waratah’. I hope it inspires readers who need help to finding their warrior within and to start a new chapter in life.”
The details of Ha Le’s history are sad and shocking. Right from her earliest days when she was regularly beaten by a babysitter while her parents, distracted by their toxic relationship, failed to notice. Later she fled wartime Vietnam in pursuit of freedom for herself and her unborn child, only to end up stuck on a boat for 25-days in a state of constant fear and starvation, followed by imprisonment in Hong Kong. Eventually accepted into Australia as a refugee, she started a new life, determined to achieve higher education and financial freedom. However life dealt her blow after blow with three bouts with cancer, and an uprooting of her relationship with her daughter. Ha Le, once again, looked deep inside and found the strength, love, and faith in motherhood to never-give-in, developing the skills she needed to free herself from the chains of her past and finally be truly liberated. After sharing this story as an in-demand motivational speaker and empowering her coaching clients, Ha Le is releasing her memoir, titled “Waratah”, in the hopes of helping many more people to transform their lives.
The early feedback for “Waratah” has been passionate.
Sam Cawthorn, CEO/Founder of Speakers Institute and International Best Selling author of “Bounce Forward” & “Story Showing”, recently said in a five-star review, “Waratah is an enthralling tale of motherhood, war, betrayal, and love.”

About Ha Le Thai
With a heart blended between Eastern colours and a Western education, Ha-Le’s survival strategy was to transform her thought processes and approach to life. She resolved to break all the emotional traps that she had been bottling inside since her traumatic childhood marred by a dysfunctional family, child abuse at a very young age, and the onset of the Vietnam War.
As life’s challenges continued to unfold, she altered her beliefs and values and decided to look at her culture with a new lens altogether. During the transformation period, she decided to shake off anything that did not serve her well. She now understands why people succeed or fail in life and what they need to do to overcome their hindrances. She is thankful for her inner strength and the warrior within her that helped her to survive and overcome all the nightmares that she had experienced in the past fifty years. With all of that behind her now, she now proudly calls herself – The Warrior. Ha-Le’s journey has inspired her to write her memoir called WARATAH, and this is her gift to share to the world on how she became triumphant.Press Contact
