Before Covid-19 hit, enrollment at Catherine Lieberman's North Carolina-based day care and preschool was at capacity. And while she remained opened during the pandemic for children of essential workers, her business suffered. Now she's struggling to keep it running, even forgoing her own salary since mid-March.
